If your printer is "pretend printing" blank pages, you may have a blown fuse.

If your ink cartridges are all simultaneously lighting up red, you may have a blown fuse.

If your printer is not powering on, you may have a blown fuse.

You will need to inspect your motherboard, you are looking for a black fuse marked with a number 10. It must look like the one in the photo and will be labeled F1 or F2 on the board itself.

You can check your fuse by setting a multimeter to continuity and putting the prongs on either side. If the fuse is good, it will beep or show current can pass through. If it does not beep or show any current, your fuse needs replaced. You may also need a new printhead if that is what shorted your fuse in the first place.
